“… I accepted that I was going nowhere fast without more education; more opportunity; and more money….”

SATISFACTION GUARANTEED:  What a laugh!  We humans, especially Americans, are never fully satisfied.  We are ALWAYS seeking “things” that will make us happy, and then “more things” that will give us, even “more happiness.”  America is the land of milk and honey.  The more we get, the more we want.  There was a time in my life that I would say “I’m never satisfied.”  But, when I suggest such an idea, what I should say is that I want to “accomplish more” in life.  Satisfaction comes about when were successful within a set of guidelines.  Let’s say for an example, that there comes a certain amount of success (and therefore satisfaction) with having completed high-school.  THEN we can set our goals to complete college, and again, enjoying another level of success (and therefore satisfaction).  The same holding true for a Master’s Degree, and for some, even a PhD.  The degree ofsatisfaction is almost always tied to the amount of “money”we earn.  The more money we earn …the more satisfied we become.  I remember in 1960…. I thought… when I made $100.00 per week…. How satisfying that would be.  Who could spend $100.00 per week, I wondered?  It wasn’t too long before I realized that I was not happy with a mere $100.00 per week…. And wanted more … even needed more.   I accepted that I was going nowhere fast without more education; more opportunity; and more money.  I think that as we mature; we should develop the proper mixture of education, energy, hard work, commitment, opportunity, and PATIENCE; which is when the degree of our SATISFACTION is more sustaining.  As part of this “maturing process,” it would help if we called upon the Great Leader, Teacher, and Motivator…. Our Lord God, to provide us with Hope and Spiritual Satisfaction.  And, once we develop the habit of “helping others” achieve their own goals and Satisfaction, we will realize the true nature of Satisfaction Guaranteed.  Acts 20:35 In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”  Isaiah 58:11 – And the Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your desire in scorched places and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.   …Blessings…cjlb…8/19/14
