“Quagmire of Oppression…………….? What?

Norman Kohlhepp - Kentucky Derby - 1949 (2)Quagmire of Oppression: Charlie Sheen made the expression, quagmire of oppression, famous, having been quoted many times, recently, as he described the working conditions of “Two and ½ Men.”  I suppose he was describing his show’s environment as being awkward, complex, prolonged, and cruel.  He could have used it to describe our current status of the Joint Congress and Whitehouse.  They seem to be hell-bent on self-destruction, and, seemingly, want to take the American Taxpayer down the tube with them.  We Citizens seem to just turn the other cheek.  What’s wrong with us? My plan is to “not-to-vote” for any incumbent.  Period!  Amos 4:1  says:  “Hear this word, you cows of Bashan, who are on the mountain of Samaria, who oppress the poor, who crush the needy, who say to your husbands, ‘Bring, that we may drink!’ …Blessings…cjlb…8/8/13
