“…When’s the last time you reconciled your personal checking account and checked your cash-flow against your home budget…?”

??????????????????Have you ever wondered why you’re not climbing the ladder to success? Why your marriage is in trouble?

Why your kid’s grades are slipping, or they’re into some serious social issues, your wife thinks you’re drinking too much and has caught you watching porn on your company laptop. And why your job might be in jeopardy, why your peers are not supporting your role in the company, why you haven’t gotten a raise in the last 3 years, why that Nigerian investment scammed you out of your 401K money, why your health is beginning to slide, why you look 20 years older than you really are; and why you have quit going to Church because you‘re thinking that God has not been a bit of help to you…. And, it’s likely all His fault anyway.

Do you know anyone like that? Well, they’re all around…. Probably the guy sitting next to you in Church….um… but wait; I forgot…he quit going to Church.  Then it may be your fellow co-worker in the next cubicle; or worse…it could be you.  Is everything “falling apart” in your life?  First things first….let’s examine our conscience.  When’s the last time you spent some personal time with your spouse?  When’s the last time you took the kids anywhere on Friday night or Saturday morning?  When’s the last time you “didn’t stop at the neighborhood bar before going home?  When’s the last time you reconciled your personal checking account and checked your cash-flow against your home budget?  When’s the last time you checked the fat-scale and had a doctor’s visit?  When’s the last time you actually went to Church and “listened” to the sermon (just in case it may have applied to you)?  When’s the last time you told your wife that you loved her; or bought her something special…for no reason, or a good reason; or opened the car door for her?  When’s the last time you asked God back into your life, confided in Him, asked forgiveness, and atoned?  When’s the last time you greeted your peer’s with a smile, and surprised them with coffee and donuts?  When’s the last time that you went to your boss and asked how you might help him accomplish a certain project, or to improve your own work performance?  When’s the last time you apologized for offending a friend, spouse, or co-worker?  When’s the last time you got on your knees and asked God to help you get your life straightened?

Mark 11:22-24 – And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Matthew 17:17-20O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.” And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour. Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?” So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.  1 John 5:4 – For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith.
